From Monday 23rd March 2026, we’ll be making a small increase in our box prices. Forge Bakehouse have also implemented a 25 – 40p increase per item which will take effect from Monday 9th March.  

Raising prices is difficult choice to make and so here’s what’s behind our decision:

Paying our team fairly. Regather pays the Real Living Wage: we have made the commitment to pay our staff a wage which is based on the cost of living to ensure that our staff can meet their basic needs. The Real Living Wage has increased by 6.7% and fair pay for the people who grow, pack, and deliver your veg is non-negotiable for us.

Better boxes for you. Over the past year, we’ve noticed the price of the fruit and veg we purchase for your box increase. We’ve tried to contain the impact of this by being more economical in our choices of contents but we’re now at the point where we need to increase our purchasing budget. This means a better box for you at a relatively small increase in cost. 

Supporting our growers — including our own farm. Supporting local, organic farming means sticking with the farmers when conditions are difficult and when their prices go up. By doing this, we’re not only sending you quality local and organic food but we’re also supporting organic farms which are under growing financial pressure. The UK food system is largely based on fragile, just-in-time supply networks which are impacted by world events. Regather supports local and small scale organic farms, building a resilient local food economy. 

Keeping our costs in check. We recently bought our building, which means we’re no longer paying rent. This has helped us absorb some of the rising costs, which is why we’ve been able to keep this increase as small as possible.

Our decision to increase prices hasn’t been taken lightly and we’re genuinely grateful for your continued support.
