Lead the Change is our social enterprise support programme for individuals and groups needing investment to try-out and grow their ideas to create a positive social or environmental impact through enterprise activity. The programme is being delivered in partnership with Youth Discovery Ventures; funded by UnLtd and Esmee Fairburn.

After one year of the programme, we have awarded £6,637 to 9 applicants needing financial and mentor support to make their ideas come to life. Succesful ideas have included a clothing exchange, boxing & mentoring programme for young people, music workshops to improve mental well-being, musical heritage tours and reading workshops for individuals with learning disabilities.

We are currently looking at increasing the funding available per application to £5,000 for those with more developed ideas and require greater investment. More details to follow before the end of the year!
