Regather Garden Social & Apple Pressing

Garden, harvest, cook, lunch, plan for next years garden. This summer we have set up a community garden on the Club Garden green space. Come and help us work on the Regather community garden, harvesting produce, cooking lunch for the group and planning how we use the community garden in the future. PLUS - Bring your apples down and get them pressed in our new press! We’ll be making cider with some of the juice and you can take home the rest. (Free)

Growers Drinks

Back by popular demand, growers drinks aims to provide Sheffield with a network for discussing growing and food. Open to anyone interested in food, whether you are new to growing and want to get some advice, need some help on your allotment and want to find an extra pair of hands/some advice from seasoned growers or simply want to find a community of like minded people, come down for some locally brewed ales at regather works. Regather Box Social – Autumn Harvest ‘Bring a Dish’

Autumn has finally set in and the abundance of local fruit and veg if now ready to harvest! To celebrate we're hosting a seasonal veg box inspired bring a dish and sit down meal. Do join us and be part of the community of local food champions. The Regather Autumn social celebrates the awesome local farmers and producers who provide excellent quality produce. We'll be chatting recipes, growing and local food, you can meet suppliers and the team whilst enjoying a craft ale in the comfortable surrounds of the Regather bar and community garden. A History of allotments in Sheffield: an exploration of its early origins in the 18th century through to the present day, linking each phase with historical sources of information. Margaret Boulton is from the Sheffield Allotment Federation and author of ‘A History of Allotments in Sheffield’. More talks to be announced. (Free)
