Glang Show (Anti Comedy)
July 15 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The Glang Show UK Tour – Sheffield Anti-comedy

Earth's most prestigious comedy anti-competition has landed.
Who shall succeed? Who shall perish amidst the fires? Who shall be crowned earth's champion?

The Glang Show is a fully interactive gong show set in an anarcho-utopian magical realist feudal theocracy. It's complicated, but luckily the rules don't matter all that much.
There is a line up of comedians performing to compete for your affection and, through various means, the audience have been given complete control over the proceedings; they are neither instructed to use these powers wisely or fairly.

John Scott Delusions. The world has gone mad. So has John on occasion. Misdiagnosed with schizophrenia, aged 24. But then he got better… Well, turns out he was actually bipolar, which is a bit trendier. Trump, Brexit, Farage wants a knighthood, Blair’s philanthropist of the year! December 2017
The Elvis Dead
December 13 @ 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Regather Comedy Club – The Elvis Dead

Elvis Aaron Presley is the quintessential rock star icon, with influence stretching across generations; Bruce Campbell is the quintessential B-movie horror icon, appearing with enough regularity to consider it habit, as Ash Williams in the Evil Dead movies. Bruce also once appeared as Elvis in the 'soul-stealing mummy in a nursing home' movie, Bubba Ho-Tep.Rob Kemp loves all of these things, and (very occasionally) has been told that he bears a passing resemblance to Bruce Campbell (we're not here to discuss the accuracy of this observation, just accept that it happened).

Every now and then, an idea strikes that seems extremely absurd, and yet at the same time bizarrely fitting.
