The Brew Day Experience FAQs

Email or ring our head Brewer Jim Danson on 07810001973 to arrange a suitable date.
The Brew Day Experience takes place at Regather Works, 57-59 Club
Garden Road, Sheffield, S11 8BU.
Starting at 9.00am you will be welcomed by our Brewer Jim Danson, who will then walk you through the process and discuss with you the different stages, ingredients and jobs to be done. Your day will finish around 5.30pm

if you need to leave earlier please let us know beforehand.
With your Brew Day Experience Voucher you are entitled to 30
bottles of beer. Most people choose to wait for the beer that they helped brew to be ready

this usually takes approximately 5-6 weeks after the brew date. If you can
’t wait that long, you can takeaway a small selection of our current beer on the day. Just let our brewer
Jim know on the day.
Participants are expected to get stuck in from the word go, in every aspect of the process from beer design to bottling!
Our bottles of beer are all 500ml and provided in plastic bottles. We find this is the best for when we sell our beer at our Outdoor Events and Festivals during the summer.
If you wish to purchase more of our beer this can be arranged and will be charged at £3.25 per bottle. Any additional beer can be purchased
on the day subject to stock availability.
The beer through our Brew Experience is not available for resale due to licensing and is only suitable for personal consumption.
You may need to share the Brew Day experience with other participants (although we will only ever book a maximum of 2 people per brew to ensure everyone is able
to get stuck in). It is possible to order the complete run of 140 bottles of beer (subject to availability), in which case you will have exclusive access to the brewer.
But this would be an additional cost to the standard Brew Experience Voucher.
The Brew Day Experience is not a tour of the brewery and you will be hands on in brewing the beer, we therefore recommend wearing suitable clothing (not your best
dress) and shoes. We recommend trousers and long sleeves to protect yourself from splashes, and sturdy shoes (no open toed sandals). It can also get a bit cold in our cellar where the bottling is done, so maybe bring a warm jumper or
Lunch is not included in the Brew Experience, you may therefore want to bring a packed lunch or to try one of the many food options available on London Road. On certain days, there may also be the option to get food at the Real Junk Food Project Café that is hosted at Regather Works. To check their opening days, see:
Tea, coffee and water are available on the day.
