Regather believes in access to quality, healthy, organic food for all Sheffielders. We work to create a local Sheffield food system that is good for our economy, people & environment. All our food related projects actively encourage a vibrant, shared food culture and supporting local producers. Regather also believes that food should be fairly traded, not just abroad, but here in the UK and that it is possible to have good food whilst insisting on high animal welfare standards. Our food sourcing policy is local local and organic unless there’s a good reason otherwise. This is best shown by the Food Zone diagram developed by Growing communities in Hackney.
